Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented, self-motivated Java Software Engineer to join the Installation and Licensing development team. You will work in an agile tight knit team with other developers, quality engineers, usability and technical writers. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from and contribute to an experienced and high calibre engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Installation and Licensing products
- Improve quality of existing code base through debugging, re-factoring and improving unit and system tests
- Interacting with web services technology for delivering products online
Qualifications:
- BS degree plus five (5+) years of commercial software engineering experience, or MS degree, in Computer Science
- 2+ years experience with Java (Swing)
- Development experience on Windows and/or Unix environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire to work in close-knit and high functioning agile software development team
Nice to Have
- Experience developing Installation and Licensing technologies is a plus
- Experience developing unit tests is a plus
- Experience in C/C++/Perl is a plus
- Mac OS X is a plus
- Previous Agile Software Development using Scrum or XP is a plus
- MATLAB experience is a plus
