Enterprise Data Architect   - $130K - $150K + Bonus + Will Relo - Onsite Full Time Employee position – NO C2C CTH
My client is a financially strong, stable company and leader in their industry for over 100 years
This is a new position - We need to set up an architecture function within the company.
Everyone who talks to my client wants the job there. Smart people and will like the hiring manager,
* Collaborate with our executive team and leaders across the organization to understand data needs of the organization, define data architecture to enable those needs and lead the implementation of defined data architecture.
* Assume a leadership role in application data architecture, data reference models, requirements gathering and process analysis and troubleshooting.
The first 3 focus areas will be to
* Understand the current technology environment
* Come up with the first version of the “getting there” roadmap
* Come up with the first version of enterprise application design & coding standards
* Responsive to the organization needs for rapid ideation.
* Collaborates with our executive team and leaders across the organization to define and implement enterprise strategy.
* Assumes a leadership role in business architecture, modeling, requirements gathering and process analysis and troubleshooting.
* ONE OF THESE REQUIRED, in this order, preferred, workers comp, p&c insurance, insurance, financial services
* Need someone who can talk to the P&C or Workmen's Comp business side, as well as the tek side
* At least 10 years of information technology experience
* At least 8 years of information technology experience related to data design and/or architecture
* Prior experience in lead data architecture or engineering role
* Demonstrated accomplishments with traditional data warehouse, ETL, or BI / Information delivery
* Experience with data lakes, data virtualization and/or other big-data architectural approaches
* Strong analysis skills along with the ability to develop creative solutions and options
* Demonstrated accomplishments with leveraging data in online and/or mobile applications to optimize user experience
* Bachelor’s Degree a plus
