The Implementation Manager is responsible overseeing the delivery of implementation services including managing a team of resources. From project kickoff to the initial go live, the Implementation Manager will ensure that the delivery of services follows the Implementation Methodology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
? Manage and grow a team of individuals to rapidly and effectively deliver implementation services.
? Lead project kickoff session, establishing project scope, objectives, budget and timeline.
? Track and manage the status of active implementation projects, including budget, percent to completion, and targeted go live date.
? Propose and scope additional services during a project that will exceed the budget.
? Coordinate with partners and third party resources.
? Work side-by-side with sales to constantly tune hand offs and drive greater collaboration between sales and services.
? Scale implementation operations as sales volume increases.
? Run fast, efficient implementations remotely using phone calls, webcasts, and other tools to increase utilization of implementation resources.
? Drive customer references by soliciting customers for success stories as part of their implementation.
? Implementations are run remotely without travel. However, some occasional travel to strategic customers, partners or tradeshow events may be required during the year.
? Work closely with support to transition customers upon completion of their implementation project.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years experience with managing services teams with many active projects (Ideally 40+ projects at any time). Bachelor’s degree. Experience with enterprise or shipping software would be a benefit. An overall understanding of ERP software technologies is a plus.
They will thrive on changing priorities and juggling customers in order to balance attention across a large and diverse set of projects. They will be good at organization and a great communicator; both written and orally. They will enjoy leading screen share sessions with customers while enthusiastically sharing knowledge.
