Enterprise Business Architect - LEAD -

My client is a

* Enterprise Business Architect is
a new position -
We need to set up an architecture function within the company.
Enterprise Business Architect will collaborate
with our executive team and leaders across the organization to define and implement enterprise strategy.
* Enterprise Business Architect will assume a leadership role
in business architecture, modeling, requirements gathering and process analysis and troubleshooting.
Work closely with business leaders to:
Scope initial project proposals (ideation) and assist with preparations for project proposal presentations.
Work through and successfully complete contract negotiations.
technology proofs of concept.
product and service evaluations to ensure they align with strategic goals and objectives.
or participate in architectural reviews.
The first 3 focus areas will be to
* Understand the current technology environment
* Come up with the first version of the “getting there” roadmap
* Come up with the first version of enterprise application design & coding standards
Responsive to the organization needs for rapid ideation.
Collaborates with our executive team and leaders across the organization
to define and implement enterprise strategy.
Assumes a leadership role in
business architecture, modeling, requirements gathering and process analysis and troubleshooting.
* One of these required, in this order preferred,
workers comp, p&c insurance, insurance, financial services
At least 10 years related work experience.
* Familiarity with the Business Analyst Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
* Prior experience as a
Sr. Business Analyst preferable.
* Strong analysis skills along with the ability to
develop creative solutions and options.
* Experience with
vendor management and contract negotiations
* Demonstrates initiative, creativity and innovation to drive breakthrough
product and process ideas to fruition.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
