Our client is an innovative CAE software product development company in Michigan, They have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Sales Person with proven track record in CAE product sales.
 
They help product development companies to accelerate the innovation thru Visual CAE Collaboration.  They develop and market tools to smart transform simulation data from various simulation solvers into Intelligent Simulation Information for faster decision making and 3D Information sharing.
 They also provide tools to smart extract Intelligent Simulation Information from many commercial CAE software formats (ex. OP2, ODB, RST, BDF, INP, d3plot,. Cas & dat etc.)  into a common 3D format CAX, and provides scalable 3D Viewers to view and process the CAX files.  CAX files are easy to manage, view on any device or any OS and easy to store, share etc.  The data mining capabilities of VCollab coupled with Python interface helps to automate the many CAE post processing tasks and improve the productivity of CAE analyst.  Also, CAX files are like compact 3D CAE reports and helps companies to store, move and share key CAE results as Intelligent Simulation Information with all the stake holders in the company.
 
All the product development companies that have invested in CAE software tools to improve their competitiveness thru virtual CAE simulations would benefit using the client's technology to help them to maximize the utilization of their CAE investments.

Requirements:
  • Location: Detroit 
  • Profile
    • 5 to 8 yrs CAE executive working experience
    • Proven record of successful sales career. Any CAE software selling background is preferred.  
    • Preferable experience
      1. CAE user experience
      2. Enterprise and/or large account sales experiences
      3. MDO, SPDM Sales 
      4. CAE pre & post processors sales
      5. NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS Sales exp. 
      6. Enterprise sales experience is preferred
      7. Enjoying interactions with customers, selling innovative engineering software, sharp focus on revenue generation are essential skills
      8. At least three to five years of experience as a practicing engineer in structural statics, dynamics, Fatigue, durability, CFD, or thermal disciplines, for mechanical design and development with one to three years of experience in application engineering; business development or sales preferred
      9. Customer/Account development experience in the CAE space is essential
      10. Ability to write proposals to implement CAE Data Management, CAE Process Management, MDO consulting etc. is a plus   
      11. Able and willing to travel up to 40% of the time
