We are in need of a Senior .Net Programmer Analyst for a full-time position in Harrisburg, PA.
You will be responsible for the planning, design, programming, documentation, maintenance and testing of technically oriented systems. The Senior .Net Programmer Analyst also evaluates user requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities.
Interact with personnel at all levels of the organization to coordinate and deliver high quality programming services.
Perform in-depth systems analysis and development of complex, technical or sensitive projects that impact the information systems.
Implement procedures to include file design, impact of system resources, actual coding, error removal, systems evaluation, on-line testing, user approval, final corrections, and program and run time documentation.
Write optimized programs utilizing functional/technical documentation, verify programming through structured testing techniques and works with end users to obtain client approval.
Report status of assigned tasks to the Applications Development Manager on a regular basis.
Adheres to accepted data processing standards; develops applications that are effective, efficient and that satisfy user needs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and corporate Privacy and Security policies.
Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of six years of programming experience preferably in .Net Framework platform.
Expertise in relational databases such as Oracle, SQL server and DB2.
Expertise in the following: C#, Vb.Net, XML, Web services
Strong knowledge of IIS, deploying websites, and HTML
Ability to design, write, test, maintain, and debug computer program source code
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical, and problem solving skills
Experience in SSIS, SSRS is preferred
Experience in Encryption/Decryption is preferred.
Ability to learn emerging technologies (such as new web/mobile tools) quickly, research new solutions and apply strategic thinking to decisions about future development.
Advanced knowledge of both batch and interactive data processing system environments.
Familiar with various file processing concepts and techniques.
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database software as well as proprietary software and web-based applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
