As a Software Engineer in the ATPCO organization you are responsible for the implementation, enhancement and maintenance of ATPCO applications and services.
Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, testing, integration, debugging, documenting and implementation of new and enhanced software.
Implements product requirements, validates solutions and documents the design. Incorporates architectural strategies and standards into the components, programs & other technical artifacts created.
Leverages efficient programming techniques and strategies, utilizing reuse where practical. Reviews and executes full lifecycle testing for all applications, functionality, modifications and enhancements.
Ensures all technical artifacts produced are complete and properly managed as required per the SDLC.
Adheres to established ATPCO development & quality standards and recommends appropriate modifications to improve quality and productivity of the team.
Works independently with minimal supervision on projects of varying complexity using design specifications and requirements to code high quality, well-written and efficient components/programs.
Formulates high level and detailed estimates for assignments, including clear justification in situations that may involve ambiguous or unclear requirements. Plans, organizes and tracks technical deliverables to meet commitments, performing multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
Current in programming techniques, technologies and tools utilized at ATPCO.
Actively contributes to and supports integration of design strategies, application specifications, product schedules, and user expectations into the appropriate artifacts. Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile environment.
Actively participates in cross-functional teams, models team qualities, builds team rapport and keeps others informed. Self-motivated and performs well in a team based environment.

Minimum qualifications include at least 2+ years software development experience.
Industry or ATPCO applications experience a plus
Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
Experience with tools such as node.js, Java, AngularJS, REST, JSON, XML/XSD, SOAPUI, Jenkins, Git, Maven, HTML5, CSS, NoSQL databases, relational databases.
Experience with complex scalable, distributed systems and high-volume transaction applications.
Proven results oriented individual focused on delivering customer value.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant technical experience
